Quang Ninh: 12,435 MT of fishery production in February

(vasep.com.vn) Quang Ninh province estimates to reach 12,435 MT of fishery production in February 2014, up 6.2 percent against that of February 2013, completing 14 percent of the province's yearly plan. In which, wild catch is 8,386 MT and aquaculture is 3,959 MT.

Seafood exports could have prevented trade deficit in 2013

If traditional seafood exports from Peru had maintained the same level of 2012 last year, Peru trade deficit recorded in 2013 could have been avoided. This was stated by the National Fisheries Society (SNP), which also noted that this was the first trade deficit in 11 years, amounting to USD 365 million.
