(vasep.com.vn) In January 2014, Tien Dat Seafood Processing Co., Ltd (Tien Dat Co., Ltd) exported 400 MT of surimi of all products to earn around US$1 million. The company made no export in February when its workers and staff enjoyed a long holiday of Lunar New Year and there was low supply of raw material in the domestic market.

Since March 1st, freight fees for consignments to EU increased to US$700 per teu; US$500 per teu for shipments to Middle East; US$300 – 400 for cargoes to America.

Khanh Hoa: Fish production hit 15,250 MT

(vasep.com.vn) In the first quarter of this year, total fish production by Khanh Hoa province is estimated to reach over 15,250 MT, up nearly 4.7 percent year on year. In which the local fishermen caught 520 MT of ocean tuna, up 3.5 percent. Aquaculture production hit over 1,000 MT, down 0.3 percent.

Bac Lieu: Fish production reached 32 thousand MT

(vasep.com.vn) In February 2014, Bac Lieu province stocked fish seed on the area of 30,625 hectares. In the month, local farmers harvested 7,376 MT of fish on the farming area of 52,110 hectares while capture output yielded 9,758 MT.
