Forbes has announced the list of 25 Asian Power Businesswomen in 2020, which includes Madam Truong Thi Le Khanh. She is the Founder and Chairwoman of the seafood exporter Vinh Hoan Corp., making her one of only two Vietnamese women included on the list this year. The list aims to honor the women who play a significant role in shaping Asia’s business landscape.

In the first 6 months of 2020, cephalopod exports reached nearly US$ 240 million, down 16.9% over the same period in 2019. The export of Vietnamese cephalopod in the first 6 months of this year was still affected by the Covid-19 epidemic and the limited supply of raw materials for production. China was still Vietnam's importer of cephalopod with the most stable demand in the first 6 months of 2020.

As of the first half of June 2020, Vietnam's pangasius export value plunged by 29.8% over the same period in 2019, reaching US$ 612.3 million.

It seems that Vietnam's pangasius exports to this market are more positive after the UK left the EU in early 2020 with more socio-economic independence.

By the end of June, Vietnam's tuna exports in the first 6 months of 2020 continued to fall, down 20% over the same period in 2019, reaching nearly US$ 293 million.
