Vietnam targets to be the world leader in seafood processing and exports

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) Vietnam sets a target achieving seafood export turnover of US$14-16 billion by 2030 and creates jobs for 3.5 million workers. By 2045, fisheries will be a modern commercial economy, a deep seafood processing hub, which belongs to the group of three leading countries in the world.

Vietnam dried squid exports to South Korea increased

Vietnam cephalopod exports estimated to reach US$570 million in 2020

(vasep.com.vn) In October 2020, Vietnam's exports of cephalopod rose by nearly 16% to 58.6 million USD. In the first 10 months of this year, cephalopod exports reached US$454.9 million, down 5% over the same period in 2019. It is estimated that the exports of Vietnamese cephalopod in 2020 will reach about US$566 million, down about 2% compared to 2019.
