(vasep.com.vn) Tomorrow, August 19, 2026, the Vietnam International Seafood Exhibition – Vietfish 2026 will officially open at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City. Taking place over three days, from August 19–21, Vietfish 2026 promises to provide a dynamic platform for business networking, trend updates, product experiences and comprehensive cooperation across the domestic and international seafood community.
Under the theme “Innovation and Sustainability,” Vietfish 2026 marks 27 years of supporting Vietnam’s seafood industry. This year, the exhibition returns on an expanded scale, bringing together businesses across the entire seafood value chain, from aquaculture, fishing, processing and export to distribution, technology, equipment, packaging and supporting services.
According to the Organizing Committee, Vietfish 2026 will feature more than 14,000 m² of exhibition space, with 568 booths representing 335 domestic and international companies. Participants from 17 countries and territories will join the event, which is expected to welcome more than 13,000 professional and international visitors. The exhibition provides an important opportunity for Vietnamese seafood businesses to showcase their capabilities, promote their products, expand their networks and explore business opportunities during the year-end peak season.
Beyond product displays, Vietfish 2026 will feature a series of specialized and highly engaging activities. Domestic and international B2B programs will facilitate direct meetings between businesses and distribution networks, retailers, importers and buyers. A series of five specialized seminars will address key issues of concern to the industry, including global seafood market trends, the future workforce, green technology, GSA/BAP standards, regulations in key markets, and Vietnam–China seafood trade.
In addition, the Tasty Kitchen/Cooking Show at Hall B1 will showcase the diversity, nutritional value and culinary potential of Vietnamese seafood through cooking demonstrations, product tastings, mini-games and interactions with visitors. The initiative also aims to bring Vietnamese seafood closer to consumers, distributors, foodservice channels and international partners.
Vietfish 2026 takes place as Vietnam’s seafood industry seeks stronger growth in the second half of the year. The exhibition is expected to provide further momentum for businesses, boost domestic consumption, expand export markets and promote the spirit of green transformation across the entire seafood value chain.
