Recovery of Vietnamese seafood exports

(vasep.com.vn) Vietnamese seafood exports showed signs of recovery after two months of decline from 10.7 to 30.8 percent against the corresponding time of the previous year. This trend is mainly attributable to the rebound registered for two key items of Vietnamese exports: shrimp and pangasius.

Phu Cuong Jostoco Corp sent shrimp to seven markets

(vasep.com.vn) In May 2013, Phu Cuong Seafood Processing and Import Export (Phu Cuong Jostoco Corp) exported 121 MT of shrimp to four markets, having a worth of US$1.25 million. Japan, which purchased 65 MT of shrimp valued US$655 thousand, was Phu Cuong’s largest importer.

Stable pangasius price in the U.S. market
