(seafood.vasep.com.vn) Mexico is one of the 20 largest tuna suppliers as well as it is also one of large importers of tuna in the world. Through May 2016, Mexico imported tuna from 18 countries around the world including Vietnam.

Domestic enterprises will have to import more unprocessed seafood to turn out products for export due to an undersupply at home, according to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP).

After the growth in the first 3 months of 2015, Vietnam's shrimp exports to the Netherlands declined continuously from April to the end of the year. Entering 2016, shrimp exports to this market continued to decline in the first two months of 2016. Between March and June 2016, the Netherlands reported the continuous growth in importing Vietnam shrimp in which imports reached the highest value of US$14.8 million in June, up 98.3% compared to June 2015.

At Vinh Hoan Corp, she used to work as a Member of BoD cum Sales & Marketing Director and she has been appointed to be the new CEO of Vinh Hoan Corporation since 23rd May, 2016.

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs, in Jan-Apr 2016, Vinh Hoan Joint Stock Company (Vinh Hoan Corp) gained US$80.4 million in seafood export turnover, accounting for 4.12% of total export turnover and stayed as one of the top Vietnamese seafood exporters.

On June 13, 2016, Vietnam’s Prime Minister – Nguyen Xuan Phuc – made a visit to Vinh Hoan Collagen’s factory during his trip to Dong Thap Province.
