QIII/2016: Imports of cephalopod into US climbed up

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) After declines, imports of cephalopod into the US tended to rise from the beginning of the year. The import volume peaked at 24,858 MT in QIII/2016, QII/2016 with 22,475 MT and QI/2016 with 22,080 MT. This was driven by an increase in demand for this item for the upcoming holidays.

The figure in Jan-Oct 2016 estimated at 411.10 thousand MT, completing 77.57% of the plan, and down 0.14% over the same period last year.

Kien Giang: Up in fishery production in Jan – Sep 2016
