Vietnam pangasius sales to Brazil jumped

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) As of 15th Oct 2017, Vietnam’s pangasius exports to Brazil totaled US$79.6 million, up 66.2% over the same period last year. This is considered as one of the potential importing markets of Vietnam with the good growth. In particular, in September 2017, exports to the market hit US$6.73 million, up 103.3% over the same period last year. Sales to the market reached the highest growth in the first three quarters of this year.

Exports of processed tuna to Mexico continued the rise

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) As of the first half of Oct 2017, Vietnam’s tuna exports to Mexico reached US$10.73 million, up 80.1% over the same period last year. In 2017, tuna exports to markets grew positively, in which sales to Israel and Mexico showed the highest growth.

Positive growth in Vietnnam pangasius exports to China

Vietnam fresh/frozen squid took large share in Israel imports

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) Except for the fall in February 2017, Vietnam’s cephalopod exports to Israel increased continuously from February to September this year. In QIII/2017, sales to this market grew by 85% to hit US$2.9 million. The figure in the first 9 months of this year estimated at US$6.5 million, up 92.4% over the same period in 2016. Israel currently held as the largest buyer of Vietnam cephalopod, accounting for 1.4% in Vietnam's total exports to markets.

Phu Yen pours over 2.1 trillion VND into aquaculture

Authorities in the central coastal province of Phu Yen will spend nearly 2.12 VND trillion (93 million USD) developing aquaculture from now until 2025.
