Fishery production reached 6.7 million MT

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) According to report of The General Statistics Office, Vietnam's seafood production in October 2019 was estimated at 733.8 thousand MT, up 5.4% over the same period in 2018; accumulation in 10 months was estimated at 6,698.7 thousand MT, up 5.4%; in which, aquaculture reached 3.5 million MT, capture fisheries touched 3.1 million MT.

Vietnam’s foreign trade to exceed 500 billion USD in 2019

Japanese tuna imports rose

Tuna export value to this market in September reached US $ 2.1 million, up 19% over the same period in 2018. Therefore, the total value in the first 9 months of 2019 still increased by 7.3% compared to the same period in 2018, reached nearly US$21 million.

Shrimp exports to China recovered

In August 2019, Vietnamses shrimp exports to China rose by 30% to US$ 51.4 million. In the first eight months of 2019, shrimp exports to this market reached US$336.5 million, up 5% over the same period in 2018.
