Bac Lieu: Fish production hit 22,969 MT in April

(vasep.com.vn) Total aquaculture and capture production in Bac Lieu province was estimated to reach 22,969 MT in April 2014, in which aquaculture output gained 12,113 MT. The locality has 104,358 hectares of fish farming area and 71,933 hectares of harvesting area.

The number of contracts is higher than that reported in the previous years. Orders for shrimp products are equal to 90 percent of the company's best sales in the past.

Thua Thien-Hue cooperating with C.P Thailand for high quality shrimp production

(vasep.com.vn) The province of Thue Thien-Hue is cooperating with the C.P Thailand Group to expand shrimp farming on sand in some districts in the province. These farms are in application of Green House technology - an enclosed system for raising safe and disease-free shrimp. Green House is the newest technology used by C.P Thailand. It also appears in many areas over the world.
