QI/2017: Farming area of shrimp totaled 535.6 thousand ha

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) The farming area for brackish water shrimp of Vietnam in the first three months in 2017 estimated at 535.6 thousand hectares, up 1.7% over the same period last year, with the production of 68.3 thousand MT, a year-on-year rise of 14.14%. Through now, shrimp farming area was little affected by diseases.
