Ca Mau plans to develop rice planting model on shrimp farming area

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) By 2020, the production area of rice-shrimp will be expanded up to 10,000 ha in 3 districts in Ca Mau province, including U Minh, Tran Van Thoi and Thoi Binh, with the output of 50,000 MT.

Thanh Hoa: Fisheries output in Jan-Jun 2017 gained 78,932 MT

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) In the first 6 months of 2017, total aquaculture and capture production in Thanh Hoa province was 78,932 MT, completing 50.1% of the plan, up 6.3% year on year. Of that, capture output hit 53,732 MT and aquaculture output touched 25,200 MT.

Ben Tre: Rise in fisheries output

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) According to Mr. Bui Van Lam - Director of the Ben Tre Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, in the first haft of 2017, the total aquaculture area in the province reached more than 40,000 hectares (including shrimp, mollusks, pangasius ...), completing nearly 86% of the yearly plan, a year-on-year increase of over 12%.
