From the beginning of the year, Vietnam’s cephalopod exports to Russia posted the continuous growth. In the first seven months of this year, Vietnam’s cephalopod exports to Russia hit nearly US$3.2 million, an increase of 334% over the same period in 2017. Vietnam mainly shipped fresh/live/frozen cephalopod to this market. Of that, exports of fresh/live/frozen octopus accounted for more than 88% of Vietnam's cephalopod export value to Russia.
