A project promoting sustainable fishery development via strengthening public-private partnership (PPP) in the Mekong Delta was launched in Ho Chi Minh City on August 22.

However, with the good growth rate in the January and April, ASEAN stayed as the 3rd largest buyer of Vietnamese cephalopod. The region became a potential export market of Vietnam while exports to main markets faced difficulties.

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) In the past two years, Vietnam’s exports to China rebounded and continued to record the good growth rate. China held as the fifth largest importing market for Vietnamese cephalopod, picking up 8% of Vietnam’s total cephalopod export value to the market.
