Binh Dinh: Capture output rose by 5%

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) According to the Sub-department of Fisheries of Binh Dinh province, so far this year, fishermen in the province have caught an estimated 83,125 tons of seafood, up 5% compared to the same period in 2018. In which ocean tuna production was estimated at 4,876 tons, up 6%.

Binh Dinh: Production of white leg shrimp rose by 47%

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) According to Binh Dinh Department of Fisheries (DARD), up to now, brackish shrimp farmers in some farming areas in the province have started to harvest farmed shrimp with a total harvested area of 30.3 hectares, volume production reached more than 870 tons, an increase of 47% over the same period in 2018.

Vietnam tuna exports to Russia tend to slow down

But since 2015, when Vietnam officially signed the Free Trade Agreement with Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU - including Russia, Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Republic of Armenia and Republic Kyrgyzstan) (VCUFTA) and came into effect on October 5, 2016, Vietnam's tuna export has prospered. However, recently, Vietnam's tuna export to this market has decreased.
