Vinashin Seafood Co. is a member of Viet Nam Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (VINASHIN). It has three modern processing plants in Quang Nam province and Hue city with total capacity of 30MT per day.
Thanks to the favorable location of the plants, the company can manage to keep enough materials and assure jobs for 500 workers. In addition, Vinashin Seafood Co. also has a collecting fleet working at sea, which can maintain a stable supply of raw materials for export processing. In a context when many processors are in shortage of material, the company is still able to satisfy the demand of its customers in Japan and South Korea.
General Director, Mr. Pham Dinh Trung, said his company is step by step partially shifting to aquaculture to assure a stable source of materials.
