(vasep.com.vn) 7 co-operatives of clam farmers in Tra Vinh province's coastal areas are harvesting clam on the farming area of 740 hectares.
Clam production of the province is estimated to reach 4,200 MT. With the price of VND23,000 – 28,000 per kilogram, local farmers can get the turnover of VND32 billion, according to the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
If the clam price remains stable in the upcoming time, one farmer will earn at least the profit of VND10 - 50 million per crop.
