From a seafood enterprise with turnover of less than US$1,000 and the only export product was shrimp, after ten years, Quangninh Seaproducts Import - Export Joint - stock Company (Seaprodex Quang Ninh) has become one of the largest seafood companies in the Northern part with18-fold export turnover.
Seaprodex Quang Ninh has long tapped China market and always ranked first in terms of export value of dried squid to this market. On average the company exported 1,000MT of dried squid to China per year (sometimes to 3,000MT), or 7-8MT per day.
