Catch landings come mainly from drift gill net, flying fish gill net, and ocean tuna long lining. High outputs are reported with round scad, scad, hairtail, grouper, etc. Especially, in May and early June, local fishers enjoyed a bumper harvest of ocean tuna, with an average output of 1.5-2MT per sea trip, bringing ship owners profits of tens of millions of VND a trip.
