The mill built at a cost of $4 million in the Tan Huong Industrial Zone is expected to annually produce between 10,000 tons and 15,000 tons of products under the Sakura trademark.
The mill's capacity will be raised to 50,000 tons in the second phase, which is estimated to cost an additional $6 million. The Higashimaru Joint Stock Co., one of Japan's leading feed producers, is the first Japanese enterprise to invest in Tien Giang Province.
