The Corp. is a Single Member Limited Company, which will be equitized at an appropriate time in compliance with Prime Minister’s decision. Its main businesses are fishing, aquaculture, processing, fisheries services and other related areas. It is also responsible for protection of the country’s sea and islands security.
The PM requested the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) to decide on the integration as well as development of specific regulations and mechanism on finance, investment, public service to promote Viet Nam Seafood Corporation’s performance.
The integration of 3 seafood corporations will help to create the unification in seafood processing as well as activeness in getting material for processing, businesses and building brands for Vietnam’s fisheries.
