Vietnam’s aquaculture production only reached 234 thousand MT in 1990 but up to now, it climbed to 2.5 million MT (nearly 11 times) thanks to the good research, production and business. Black tiger shrimp, whiteleg shrimp and pangasius are the key famed and export species of Vietnam.
Currently, the aquaculture is also conducting the research and production of marine fish breeding, mollusk, cold water fish and native fish.
