Capture fisheries production reached over 1.4 million MT
(vasep.com.vn) According to the Directorate of Fisheries under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, through the year to date, capture fisheries production of the whole country counted for over 1.4 million MT, representing an increase of over 10 percent from that of the same period of 2012.
Vietnamese fleet counts 122 thousand fishing vessels including 60 thousand near-shore fishing vessels, 35 thousand deep-sea fishing vessels and over 7 thousand offshore fishing vessels.
