Building a trademark for Nam Can crab

Nam Can marine crab accounted for 70% in Viet Nam’s total seafood export air-cargo to China. The remainder is mainly consumed in Ho Chi Minh city.

According to Mr. Huynh Thuc Binh, director of the district’s department of agriculture and rural development, the local authority have submitted the papers to Can Tho’s Department of Science and Technologies, asking the them to recognize Nam Can marine crab trademark and issue the certificate in early 2012.
