According to the statistics of Binh Dinh’s Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, in 2009, the provincial marine catch amounted to around 129,090MT, an increase of 8.6 percent against the same period last year, of which 84.3 percent from offshore fishing grounds.
Binh Dinh is implementing MARD’s Regulation dated December 04, 2009, concerning certification of seafood exported to EU, creating favorable conditions for local seafood exporters shipping seafood to this block. (VietFishNews)
