Australia offering great opportunity for Vietnam seafood

Exports to this market occupied merely 1.6 percent of the market’s total imports meaning that Vietnam still has much room for its exports to Australia.

Vietnamese goods exports to Australia are facilitated by shorter distance over the U.S. and Europe and Free Trade Agreement between Australia and ASEAN (including Vietnam).

However, there are some difficulties encountered by Vietnamese exporters to Australia. They must meet quality standards regulated by Australian market and supply goods with competitive prices over other suppliers from Asia-Pacific region to increase exports to the market.
