(vasep.com.vn) On 8th June 2012, Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) held press conference to announce the list of prestigious exporters in 2011 in order to celebrate their great contribution for Vietnam economy and promote their image and prestige to international organizations and partners.
In 2011, MOIT recognizes 294 elite export companies from 6 sectors. In which, 57 companies in seafood sector, 44 rice exporters, and 39 textile and garment exporters. The rest were companies taking part in exporting agricultural products, electrical equipments and electronics.
The exporter list was compiled based on the nomination of ministries, industry associations in Vietnam and criteria such as minimum export revenue for each sector, prestige in trading activities, respect of Customs tariff regulations and tax contribution.
