Price of Vietnam frozen pangasius export to the US increase by 56%

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) According to Vietnam Customs statistics, in the first 8 months of 2021, Vietnam pangasius exports reached over 1.8 billion USD, up 81% compared to the same period in 2021. In which, pangasius exports to the US accounted for 23%, equivalent to 421 million USD, an increase of 87%.

Vietnam squid and octopus exports increased by 36% in the first 8 months of 2022

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) In the first 8 months of 2022, Vietnam squid and octopus exports reached $489 million, up 36% over the same period in 2021. In which, squid exports accounted for 56.4%, reaching $276 million, up 47%; octopus exports accounted for 43.6%, reaching $213 million, up 24%.

Vietnam pangasius exports to the UK in August 2022 increased 3 times over the same period

Vietnam shrimp exports to the US and China decreased in July

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) Vietnam shrimp exports in July continued the trend of slow down in June, reaching 381 million USD, down 14% compared to the same period 2021. In July, among the main markets, exports to the US and China decreased 54% and 17% respectively. Shrimp exports to the remaining markets such as Japan, Korea and the EU maintained the positive growth.

Prospects bright for seafood exports to UK in rest of 2022

Vietnam’s seafood exports to the UK are expected to pick up in the remaining months of this year with the full-year revenues projected to increase by 5% over last year, according to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP).

Vietnam seafood exports to Russia revesered, increase sharply from August

Dong Thap will have 1,225 hectares of pangasius farming certified GAP, exporting about 980 million USD
