EU increases Vietnam’s pangasius imports in September 2023

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) According to data from Vietnam Customs, as of October 15, 2023, the EU market imported more than 134 million USD of Vietnam’s pangasius, down 19% compared to the same period in 2022.

Shrimp exports to China & HK have a double-digit growth in QIII/2023

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) In the first 9 months of 2023, Vietnam’s shrimp exports to China & Hong Kong reached 454 million USD, down 6%. In QIII/2023 alone, shrimp exports to this market reached more than 173 million USD, up 15% over the same period. In QI and QII, exports to this market decreased by 31% and 8% respectively compared to the same period last year.

Vietnam seafood exports in the fourth quarter will reach 2.4 billion USD

(vasep.com.vn) Vietnam seafood exports have reached 6.6 billion USD in the first nine months of this year, a 22.6% decrease from the same period the previous year. Exports fell significantly (by 27%) in the first half of the year, but starting in June, the negative growth trend began to narrow. Particularly in September 2023, export sales were just 5% lower than the same period last year.

Vinh Hoan promotes diversification of VAP’s products

Pangasius exports to Japan increased by 10% in September 2023

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) In September 2023, Japan ranked 4th in the CPTPP market in importing Vietnamese pangasius after Mexico, Canada and Singapore. Vietnam’s pangasius exports to Japan in September 2023 reached 3 million USD, up 10% over the same period last year, contributing 13% to total pangasius imports of CPTPP. Accumulated in the first 9 months of 2023, pangasius exports to this market reached 24 million USD, down 15% compared to the same period in 2022.

Tuna exports in September 2023: EU and Israeli markets decreased sharply

Shrimp exports to the US in September 2023 continue positive growth

Although it has not escaped negative growth, the rate of decline has gradually narrowed each month. Accumulated in 9 months of 2023, Vietnam’s shrimp exports reached 2.5 billion USD, down 26%.
