ASC certificate for Vinh Hoan Corp’s Tan Hoa pangasius farm

(vasep.com.vn) Vinh Hoan Corporation (Vinh Hoan Corp) received ASC certification for its Tan Hoa farm, establishing itself as the first ASC-certified pangasius farm in Vietnam.

Agifish produced 8,000 MT of raw pangasius in Q.IV/2012

(vasep.com.vn) In September 2012, An Giang Fisheries Import and Export Joint Stock Company (Agifish) exported 9,374 MT of pangasius products to earn US$24.74 million. Fish export in the first nine months of this year reached 26,347 MT for total revenue of US$73.058 million. Agifish mainly sent products to the U.S., Australia and the EU, which accounted for 44.95 percent, 13.98 percent and 13.55 percent respectively.

Asia accounts for 47% of Chilean seafood exports in 2011; Chinese market share grows
