(vasep.com.vn) In the first half of 2012, monthly export volume of TG Fishery Holdings Corporation (TG Corp) reached 600 – 650 MT of finished pangasius products. As of July 2012, the company sped up exporting and reached over 1,000 MT and export in August and September reached over 1,800 MT of finished pangasius products.

(vasep.com.vn) In the first 9 months of 2012, the U.S. was the fifth largest importer of Vietnam cephalopod and the third largest market of bivalve mollusk with the proportion of 2 percent and 8 percent, respectively out of Vietnam’s total export value of these items.

(vasep.com.vn) With nearly 70 exporting and processing companies in which their processing facilities are equipped modern equipments and controlled in accordance with HACCP, Vietnamese pangasius products are being exported to 145 countries and territories worldwide such as EU, the U.S., ASEAN, Canada, the Middle East, China, Japan, etc. Fish export volume and value to markets reported steady annual growth of 10 - 18 percent, worth by US$1.8 - 2 billion per year in two recent years.
