Canada: Seafood exports reach biggest yearly increase in three years

Trade figures released by Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, Gail Shea show that the country's seafood exports continued an upward trend in 2013, with an overall increase of CAD 268 million (USD 241.2 million) or 6.5 per cent over the previous year, with total sales reaching CAD 4.42 billion (USD 3.98 billion).

Norway: Seafood exports show continued growth

Norway exported seafood for NOK 5.4 billion (USD 903 million) in February, representing an increase of NOK 1.2 billion (USD 200.7 million) or 29 per cent compared to February last year, according to figures from the Norwegian Seafood Council.
