(IntraFish) With Sweetwater Biofuels’ Boston Seafood Show debut came the introduction of a new way for seafood companies to make and save money while earning sustainability points -- by selling fish fat off for conversion into biofuel.

(vasep.com.vn) On 8th August, a collective of four pangasius farming members in Tra Vinh received GlobalGAP certificate by Provincial Fisheries Association. This collective, leaded by Mr. Giang Van Bay, owns 1.2 hectare, located in Tan Hoa Commune, Tieu Can District.

A delegation of leading representatives from the Australian seafood industry has toured the Mekong Delta region from August 3-10 to learn more about aquaculture cooperation and investment opportunities in Vietnam.

Accordingly, net income in Q2/2014 was VND 193 billion, increasing by 5% year on year. Net profit after tax for Q2/2014 reached VND 5.4 billion, down 6% year on year.
