(Seafoodsource) In February, the export volumes of Norwegian salmon to Russia increased by almost 90 percent compared with the same month in 2010. A total of 10,800 tons were exported, a press release from the Norwegian Seafood Council in Russia reads.

Catfish Processing Down 3 Percent from Last Year

(NASS- USDA) Farm-raised catfish processed during February 2012 totaled 27.0 million pounds round weight, down 3 percent from February 2011. The average price paid to producers was $1.23 per pound for February 2012, down 1.9 cents from last month but 22.6 cents above a year ago.

(vasep.com.vn) At 9 a.m on 6 August 2014, the opening plenary of the Vietnam Fisheries International Exhibition 2014 (Vietfish 2014) was jubilantly held in the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC - 799 Nguyen Van Linh Ave., District 7, Ho Chi Minh city). The exhibition is held from 6 to 8 August 2014. For the 16th exhibition, many changes are made. The time was moved from June to August.
