Pangasius exports to the United States and Russia reduced

(vasep.com.vn) According to Vietnam Customs, from 1st January 2014 to 15th July 2014, Vietnam pangasius exports reached US$ 892.83 million, down 2.1% year on year. In 2013, pangasius exports to the United States and Russia declined due to technical barriers and anti-dumping duty.

(vasep.com.vn) According to Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) of Can Tho, total aquaculture area of the city in the first 7 months of 2014 was 8,100 hectares, up 1.19% year on year. Aquacultural harvests reached 77,320 MT, up 7.73% year on year.
