Japan to build tuna processing plant in Phu Yen

The Japanese Hokugan Company intends to build an ocean tuna and other aquatic products processing plant in the Dong Tac fishing port, Tuy Hoa city of the central coastal province of Phu Yen in the near future.

This explains why Vietnam seafood exports in first half of 2015 decreased after rising sharply in 2014. In the first 6 months of 2015, seafood exports fell 16% year on year to US$3 billion.
