Aquatic product exports decrease in five months

The aquatic export turnover was estimated at 3.2 billion USD in the first five months of 2019, a year-on-year decline of 1.7 percent, according the Agro Processing and Market Development Authority under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Vietnam seafood exports to Russia is not stable

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) From 2008 - 2018, Vietnam seafood exports to Russia increased from 28 million USD in 2008 to 47.4 million USD in 2018. The export value of Vietnamese seafood to Russia in this period was not stable.

Bac Lieu: Production of aquaculture and capture output reached over 26,770 tons

Binh Dinh: Production of white leg shrimp rose by 47%

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) According to Binh Dinh Department of Fisheries (DARD), up to now, brackish shrimp farmers in some farming areas in the province have started to harvest farmed shrimp with a total harvested area of 30.3 hectares, volume production reached more than 870 tons, an increase of 47% over the same period in 2018.

Russia is still an unstable market for Vietnam pangasius

Vietnam tuna exports to Russia tend to slow down

But since 2015, when Vietnam officially signed the Free Trade Agreement with Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU - including Russia, Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Republic of Armenia and Republic Kyrgyzstan) (VCUFTA) and came into effect on October 5, 2016, Vietnam's tuna export has prospered. However, recently, Vietnam's tuna export to this market has decreased.

Vietnam seafood exports to CPTPP member countries up 15 per cent

Currently, Russia has just imported a little and tends to reduce shrimp imports from Vietnam. So, the Free Trade Agreement between the Economic Union of Vietnam and Eurasia (FTA VN-EAEU ) helps boost the export of Vietnamese shrimp to Russia?

Pangasius exports to Mexico increased by 18%

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) Pangasius exports to Mexico as of the first half of February 2019 reached US$19.8 million, up 18.2% over the same period in 2018. Mexico was still the fifth largest Pangasius export market of Vietnam.
