Vietnam's shrimp exports to markets have increased positively

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) In the first four months of 2021, Vietnam's total shrimp export value reached US$961.9 million, up 10.2% over the same period last year, of which whiteleg shrimp products accounting for 75.8% of total shrimp exports, up 20%. This result reflects the flexible grasp of the market by Vietnamese shrimp enterprises to overcome obstacles of many Covid waves.

Ca Mau: Seafood exports are soaring

(seafood.com.vn) According to the Department of Industry and Trade of Ca Mau province, export turnover of the province in the first 5 months of the year was estimated at 360.56 million USD, reaching 32.78% of the plan, up 19.25% over the same period of 2020. In which, seafood export is estimated at 331.82 million USD, equaling 31.78% of the plan, up 18.06% over the same period last year.

The bright picture of Vietnam seafood exports to the US

After a strong increase of 36% in March, exports to this market soared 64% in April 2021 to reach US$149 million, bringing the result of exports to the US in the first 4 months of 2021 to US$483 million, up 28% compared to same period in 2020.

Vietnam's cephalopod exports to Japan decreased in the first quarter of 2021

As of the first half of April 2021, the total value of Vietnam's shrimp exports to the Australian market reached US$47.4 million, up 60% over the same period last year.

In March 2021, Vietnam's tuna exports increased by 27%

As a result, the total value of Vietnam's tuna exports in the first three months of the year increased by 3.2% compared to the first quarter of 2020 to more than 151 million USD.

Vannamei shrimp exports to Japan increased by nearly 6%

Up to now, Japan is still Vietnam's largest black tiger shrimp export market. However, in the context of increasingly complicated Covid developments, the country continues to increase the amount of imports of vannamei shrimp because the price is more suitable.
