QI/2021: Vietnam's tuna exports to the US recovered

(vasep.com.vn) After a continuous decline in the first 2 months of 2021, Vietnam's tuna exports to the US recovered in March. According to statistics of Vietnam Customs, in March alone, Vietnam exported nearly 31 million USD from tuna products, up 33% over the same period in 2020, bringing the total export value in the first 3 months of 2021 to more than 63 million USD, up 2.1%.

Vietnam - UK trade cooperation is expanding

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) As of April 15, 2021, the total value of Vietnam's pangasius exports to the Mexican market reached US$20.4 million, up 35% over the same period in 2020, accounting for 4.96 % of total pangasius export value. This is a large and potential export market of Vietnamese pangasius exporters for many years. However, in the past 3 years, the export value of pangasius to this market has decreased. Therefore, this growth of pangasius exports to the Mexican market in the current context is a good sign.
