May 2021: Optimism returns to Vietnamese pangasius exports

By the end of May 2021, the total export value of Vietnamese pangasius reached 637.8 million USD, up 14.7% over the same period last year. In particular, in May 2021 alone, the export value of pangasius reached 148.4 million USD, up 39.3%. With more and more positive export results, pangasius processing and exporting enterprises in the Mekong Delta are trying their best to both ensure safety and prevent the COVID-19 epidemic, stabilize production and promote exports.

Ca Mau Province: Shrimp exports in the first half of the year increased by 16%

Vietnam increases exports of processed seafood, reduces frozen products to China

Therefore, seafood exports to China in the first 5 months of 2021 decreased by 6%, reaching US$405 million.

Vietnam's seafood exports grow impressively in many markets

Vietnam's tuna exports to this market increased continuously at double-digit rates from 2017 until now, in the first 4 months of this year alone, the value of Vietnam's tuna exports to this market increased by nearly 58%. 12 million USD compared to the same period last year.
