In the month, Baseafood celebrated the 30th anniversary of its Factory No1. The factory was well equipped of modern technologies in order to produce seafood products for export to the EU and the U.S., and increase the company’s yearly export revenue.
In the occasion, Baseafood also granted VND50 million to the Charity Funds of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province.
In the second half of 2011, the company is strengthening exports to all markets to satisfy their demands in year end holidays. To boost export value, the firm has set up the “Strategy of exported value-add product development”, upgraded modern equipments and machines to increase its yield and solve lack of workers.
Currently, Baseafood has signed contracts for next year with importers from Japan, South Korea and Russia and is finding supply of raw material for the first half of 2012.
