The key products displayed at the exhibition include pangasius, shrimp, tuna, tilapia, clams, squid, octopus, dry seafood, value-added products, and mixed food.

In 2021, Vietnam's seafood exports to the EU reached over 1 billion USD, increasing by 12.3% compared to 2020. All the key export items of Vietnam's seafood to the EU market grow strongly despite the situation, although the global landscape has many fluctuations, directly and indirectly, affecting Vietnam's seafood export. It can be seen that the EU has long been one of the leading markets of Vietnamese seafood from the beginning to this day, so the maintenance of the presence of Vietnamese seafood in the Seafood Expo Global is always a top priority.

The motto of Vietnamese seafood throughout the international fairs 2022 continues to be "Vietnam - the home of Asian fisheries" to convey the diversity in the Vietnamese portfolio of seafood products. After 2 years of delay, the number of visitors to the global seafood exhibition 2022 increased sharply again, igniting a strong growth expectation for the fisheries industry in the near future.

Mr. Vu Chien Thang - Vietnam Commercial Counsellor in Spain, and Mr. Tran Van Cong - Agricultural Counsellor in Europe, have visited Vietnamese fisheries businesses as well as exchanged information and grasped the situation of exporting aquatic brings to Vietnam. At the booth, the Counsellors talked to Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nam - Deputy General Secretary of VASEP and businesses participating in Vietnamese booths to exchange information about Vietnam's seafood export situation as well as the export outlook to the European market in the near future.

As part of the fair, the VASEP Association organizes promotional and propaganda activities, paying special attention to two key items of Vietnam, namely shrimp and pangasius, through the distribution of propaganda and promotion publications. In addition, in order to continue promoting Vietnamese seafood items to other fair visitors, the Association coordinates the introduction of dishes made from aquatic products made by foreign chefs at the booth. This is one of the effective promotion activities that has always attracted the attention of visitors and has been included in our agenda for the international exhibition fairs in recent years.

At this global seafood exhibition, a representative from Vietnam Trading Office in Spain attended the fair to meet, encourage and exchange information with the enterprises.
