(vasep.com.vn) Ca Mau province reported a fishery production of 80,000 MT so far, up 12 percent against the same time of 2013, according to the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. Aquaculture output was 50,000 MT (+8 percent) and wild catch was 30,000 MT. Seafood exports reached nearly US$200 million.

Mekong Delta: Shrimp exports aim for US$2.55 billion

(vasep.com.vn) In 2014, Mekong Delta provinces target to raise shrimp export turnover, mainly black tiger shrimp, to US$2.55 billion, US$50 million higher than that of last year. Ca Mau province may take the lead in shrimp exports with a projected revenue of US$1.1 billion in 2014.
