(seafood.vasep.com.vn) Sao Ta Food JSC (Fimex, Ticker: FMC) has announced its 2025 business results, reporting revenue of over $300 million (approximately 7.8 trillion VND), representing a 19.8% increase year-on-year; projected profit is expected to reach approximately 420 billion VND.

By the end of 2025, the company exceeded its revenue plan by nearly 20% while successfully meeting its profit target.
The year 2025 unfolded amid significant volatility in Vietnam’s shrimp industry, particularly stemming from the US market, which weighed heavily on the sector's overall export performance.
According to the company’s report, finished shrimp output reached 29,543 tons, up more than 14% year-on-year, while sales volume of finished shrimp products totaled 24,540 tons, an increase of nearly 11% compared with 2024.
By contrast, performance in the agricultural products segment weakened. Finished output declined to 1,016 tons, down 2.3%, while sales volume reached 998 tons, dropping nearly 24% from the previous year.
Regarding shrimp farming operations, the 2025 harvest exceeded 12,000 tons, posting a slight increase from 2024. However, the harvested shrimp sizes tended to be smaller due to the impact of EHP bacterial infections during the farming cycle.
In its review report, Sao Ta noted that 2025 was a highly turbulent year, especially with adverse developments in the US market exerting considerable pressure on Vietnam’s shrimp industry. Accordingly, achieving growth amid such challenging conditions underscores the enterprise's resilience and adaptability.
