Vietnamese pangasius processors in the Mekong Delta are failing to meet exports orders due to a decline in production as farmers struggle to operate under high production costs and low prices.

According to statistics from Vietnam Customs, through the middle of March, India imported US$2.7 million of pangasius products, a 45-percent rise over the same period last year.

From now till the end of the year, Cadovimex II accelerates pangasius to get US$ 20 million, driving all year export turnover to reach US$ 50 million.

The Hung Vuong Joint Stock Company plans to build a US$30-million seafood processing plant in Russia, beginning early next year, reported Dien dan Doanh nghiep (The Business Forum) online.
