Commission Regulation (EU) No.16/2012: Supplementing requirements concerning frozen food of animal origin intended for human consumption

(vasep.com.vn) In January 11th 2012, the European Commission issued the Regulation (EC) No.16/2012, supplementing requirements concerning frozen animal food of animal human consumption. Accordingly, these requirements will be added in Section IV, Annex II Regulation (EC) No.853/2004 as follows: As regulated at Section IV, date of production of fish means the date of harvesting or catching.

February 2012 Catfish Feed Deliveries Up 53 Percent from Last Year

(NASS-USDA) Total catfish feed delivered in the United States during February 2012 was 7,612 tons, up 53 percent from February 2011, and up 30 percent from the previous month. Foodsize catfish feed delivered totaled 7,298 tons, up 58 percent from the corresponding month a year ago. Feed delivered for fingerlings and broodfish totaled 314 tons, down 4 percent from the corresponding month a year ago.
