The International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT) decided at its annual meeting on November 19 to expand the total allowable catch (TAC) of eastern Atlantic bluefin tuna for 2013 by 500 tons from the previous year to 13,400 tons--the first increase in the past decade.
