Russia ups fish catch 4.1% since start of 2013 led by pollock

Russian fishermen have caught 1.414 million tonnes of fish since the beginning of the year, which is 4.1% more than they caught in the same period of 2012, the Federal Fisheries Agency (Rosrybolovstvo) reported.

Stabilizing pangasius production after DOC’s POR 8 determination

(vasep.com.vn) On April 5th 2013, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) issued the official letter No. 1148/BNN-TCTS suggesting that Mekong Delta provinces should stabilize pangasius production after US Department of Commerce (DOC)’s determination on the anti-dumping duty imposed on frozen pangasius fillets originated from Vietnam.

Q1 2013 shows seafood exports equivalent to Q1 2012
