Khanh Hoa: Capture production hit 53,500 MT

An Giang: July seafood exports surged 30 percent

(vasep.com.vn) According to An Giang Department of Industry and Trade, in July 2013, the province exported over 15.6 thousand MT of seafood, valued at US$40 million, equal to the volume of the previous month and accounting for the 98 percent of value of the previous month.

US imposes anti-subsidy duties on Vietnamese shrimp

(vasep.com.vn) The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) on Wednesday morning Vietnam time decided to impose the anti-subsidy duties on frozen shrimp imported from Vietnam. This will have a huge impact on farming, processing and exporting of Vietnam shrimp involving 600,000 people.
